This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Smoothing a uv mapped mesh

ello,

quick question - if I have uvmapped a low res poly model then smooth it for rendering - does the uv map stay in proportion or do you need to remap? (I am guessing you don't need to remap but I ain't at all sure

cheers

Most of the time it stays the same....

I've not had a problem with it so far. You may need to adjust the stray UV here and there, but no major problems in the transition.
