Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

How to make a skeleton follow a curve

Hello and thx for helping

So my question is : How can I make a skeleton follow a curve ?
I have searched for some threads or tutorials about it but didn't find any .
My aim is to animate a snake and I think that I need to use curve to make the move more fluid and real .

I am a pretty new Maya, thx again for helping me !

And thx to those who have done the tutorials too, good jobn really helpfull .

If your just animating a snake, I dont know if you even need to use a skeleton. If you have the snake model and there are enough divisions in it, you could just attach the snake to a motion path, adjust the settings, and the snake would would follow the path and curve accordingly. Hope that helps.
