Mac equivalent of right click file -> render

Hi everyone,

I use maya at University on windows xp and to start a render I right click my .mb file and click render. When I do the same at home on my mac there is no render option. How do I do a batch render on the mac version of maya 8.5 without opening maya up?

All the best
Simon :-)

Hi there Simon

Not being a mac user I cant help you out with the right click, ive just checked to see if I have thatoption and I dont??

Ohh well, what I usualy do is create a renderfile using a text editor like notepad, I then save it as a .bat file and then use that to render as it allows you to render multiple files, heres a tutorial on it
