Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Are you modelling the 'transformed' stage first joopson?
And is it tranforming back into some futuristic vehicle?

Examples of bTraffic - a traffic animation tool for Maya
bFlocking - a tool for Maya 8.5+ to generate flocking and swarming behaviours

I think you should plan before start modeling. What vehicle you have in mind? How does it transform? What is the general shape of robot? You could plan this things on paper, before go into Maya. At least is my opinion.
