i meant the left over bits, you know some cut the string off at the peg and some (bob dylan ) wind the eccess into a circle, or whatever you know what i mean.

even just a little cut off at the peg more, at first glance it looks like the strings are just sort of are joined there, but i was just being, what?? I dont know, it was just fun.

take it easy and life will be easy

Started UV mapping the body and the neck and the pots, heres a little update going for a "vintage" look to the guitar, hence the yellowish plastic rarther than nearly pure white.

Looking great! What color(s) do you plan on making the body?

Cheers Man.

Thinking of a cherry red colour, like the gibson SG's (just love the colour of them)

Something along the lines of like this, but darker and with some tonal changes.

Looking really good so far. Where'd you get the textures for the body and neck? Did you make them, or find them somewhere?

The neck was from a CD on 3d world (I think) and the body was from a free hi res download, so a bit of a cop out LOL

I played with the procedural wood in maya to get a basic idea, bake it then modify it in PS, but I couldent get it right..

Here you go, some wires.

Some areas look very dense as I deleted the history on these areas, silly boy.
