The last face looks the best.

Chirone-It is pretty impressive that you can tell a pedophile just by the look of their eyes ... lol

Good luck on the advert. Looks like a fun project.

I think its a combination of things that make it look creepy, its the pupils with no highlights, the way the mouth is curved and those teeth. I think it would scare small children. I don't even think you need those eyebrows as I think those add to the creep factor as well, you could just use the glasses as part of his expression and the ditch the lower eyelid.

that's much better than before

what are you drawing these in? if it can make an image sequence as an avi you can use the avi as a texture

Thanks
Rendering them out in maya as a vector.
So it allows me to completely animate it while keeping it 2d.

that's pretty cool

you should make it so that only the top of the glasses follow the eyes rather than the bottom of the glasses going off without them

i imagine you should be able to acheive this if you bind them all to the same lattice and soft skin bind the lattice to some joints

Heres a computer animation test.
Still as this is not the real footage for the ad, im not concerned to much that the reflections are wrong.
I still have to paint weights on the hands.

Slowed down by half so you can see it.

The face animation are still random.

Chirone - thanks for your help. Might do that later down the track. I have the film guy coming in the next few days so thats when the funs going to start user added image
