Complex UV Layout in Maya
Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

The face has some pretty good detail! The body doesn't seem to have as much though? Any reason, or is it still way way early before those elusive details emerge? Either way, looks pretty spiffy to me! Keep it up!

looks great, expecially the claws.

are you making the armor out of the same mesh or different objects?

Hey Keithv,

Great work on the character! Don't you think having all in the same mesh will give you headackes when rigging the character. Since body should deform organically and amour are ridgid shapes it might be worth having them seperate?

just a thought!
