Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Nice work.
The tail should be slightly longer in my opinion.

Yeah, but I think he'll have to convert to nurb first.

But its more likely that your right and I'm just missing something.user added image

Whatever u do, don't consider converting TO nurbs. only ever away. It makes such a mess. polys and sub-d is interchangable. swap back and forth at will. polys is great for using split poly, sub-d's for shaping. My useless laptop won't handle sub-d's user added image

As for the model, that tail is spot on  it'd be nice to see some good expressions/scripting for a wicked whipping effect... user added image

One crit for ya, which u probably already kno, fings look boxy. Long, thin and pointy. menacing. gouge ur heart out fingers. Thats what u need!

Very, very nice work! The only thing that strikes me is that the feet dont have the overall detail leavel as the rest of the body, this makes them look a little odd.

That is looking very good! user added image

I concur with the comment about the detail on the feet, maybe it's a lighting thing?
