more problems w/ arm

ok... I just made 4 surface fillets with the fillet blend tool. I am pretty much doing what I learned from mike's shark Tut. Now I am trying to attach the fillets to the arm. I used the Attach Surfaces function, and it worked on two (top and bottom) of the 4 fillets, but i get undesired results on the other two (front and back). It looks like it is attaching to the bottom of the fillet instead of the side. Here is a really crappy picture of what is happening. For some reason my computer won't take screen shots.
