hey everyone
first of all merry christmas and happy new year
second thing i have maya 4 not the latest and i need mental ray is there a version for maya 4?
second of all what is renderman i know it is a set of plugins for maya but i want to know the details like the cost and where can i get it and most of all is it worth getting

Renderman is what Pixar Animation Studios use for film like Toy Story and Monsters Inc.

MentalRay and Pixar's Renderman are both available for Maya 4, but there are no betas or freebies like the MentalRay for 4.5 unfortunately. Probably the two best renderers out there today...but the prices reflect that!
