Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

New to SM, also to 3d!

Hi everyone, im matt from argentina.
This was my first attempt ever to build something in 3d, i just got maya 6.0 one week ago ( im pulling my hair off ) ! user added image
i would really like to share it with you all!
i learned a lot from the posts in this forum! so thank to all of you !

Yeh, really nice texturing! The first thing I made in 3d was a sphere with a hole in it... so thumbs up for you :tup:

I must say it looks great when you consider how long you've had maya. Although i'd like to see a more 3/4 view of him if you could post one.

lol Anhslaught i dont agree with you .. lol i was the worest in the world .. user added image i have been practicing drawing to get better idea for looks of my models user added image
