"They're big, they're green, and they're hungry for pachyderms"

or

"It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a great big anteater alien thing that seems to be destroying the world's population of elephants!"

or

"This summer, ET just got a little bigger..."

Ok, those were all really bad. But I like your poster, especially the font and composition.

"Elephants will be exterminated, Mammoths will be massacred. All pachyderms will perish at the hands of THE GIANT PHANTEATERS"?
Anyone think of another word for kill/exterminate that begins with p? I checked a thesaurus but found nothing

purged...pacified (doesn't really work), paralyzed, persecuted, put away, partaken of, pigged out on, polished off, punctured, pierced, done a post-mortem, posthumously recognized...

I think perish works the best though...

well i'm a big fan of b movies and b movie posters. I have hundreds of them! so i like the concept. user added image

If you are going to do a filter in PS it should be a painting kinda one. most of these old posters are really well painted in a style that is hard to recreate.
if you are going for a title shot in a fake movie just desaturate it, as it would probably be b/w. you could think about trying to create a technicolor effect in photoshop. i'm sure you could find a tutorial for it.

i think if you want it colourful then it wont look very b movie-ish, most are quite muted tones.

fine some reference... this is the poster for what is probably the most famous b-movie.

ill give it another go when im done with the poster
added tagline to poster but it looks really cluttered and a bit cut and paste so ill have to sort that
Ill probbaly make the poster taller because it will give me more space for the tagline and its a bit wider than a normal poster at the moment anyway

is it me or is it hard to read the tag lines?

bright colours on bright colours for the mammoth part especially

but also probably because of the depth...

that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

Yeah I agree
Ill probably simplify it and just put 'all pachyderms will perish!'

I hate glow, It varies with the distance from the camera so the foreground ship has way to much but the background ships have hardly any. is there anyway to fix this?
