Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Hey Kurt! Cool little challenge and man I would so like to do a project with you some time. I might see if I can pull something together, but I think the entries in here are pretty awesome already. I will be watching this one!

This is a piece from my little Bro (Ninja-Padawan). He saw some of my modelling and i finally got him to do some concept sketches for me. She's called Shiko and I think the main influence is the idea of a futurisic fronteir sort of back-drop. Hopefully if he has the time he will whip it up on photoshop. Enjoy!

Thanks for the nice compliment surfemcd! user added image It took me awhile to do, but I tend to work slow on creating computer-generated images. I want to wish the rest of you luck also! I am looking forward to seeing which one of us wins! user added image I may try and submit it to CGchannel. user added image

I just checked this thread for the first time now and I was wondering how much time is left for this challenge. By the way you have all done fantastic work. Concept art is one of my favorite fields. Please expect an addition to this challenge from me soon
