This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Home key & Maya for windows

Anybody know why my home key won't show the adjust pivot point maniuplator in windows? i hit home on my keybaord with no results.

is it in the menu somewhere? haven't been able to find it

You need to press Insert. Home is just for the Mac version of Maya. Of course, you can change it in the Hotkey editor if you really wanted to. user added image

On a side note, is there any way of getting a Mac's Home key to work when typing?

On Windows, when you hit it, the cursor jumps back home, to the start of the sentence.

On a mac, it does nothing?

Can I assign this as a function or?

Home key works fine for me on my Mac. Not sure what the problem is there. It might be the application or the OS version. I'm running OS X 10.3 here.
