Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Welcome to SimplyMaya Carlos
Hope you like the place user added image

I went to your site and it seems you do work fairly good with Maya, so from the looks of it, that short should be a winner.
I´ll be watching more closely your posts, welcome again.

Thanks adldesigner!

I will post some backgrounds very soon and animation tests.

-Starup, I did take Mr. Bean as reference in creating the character. A lot of people say that the character looks like Mr. Bean and.... well, me! hehe

Wow i like you're site! Excellent design and the animations are cool.

That grandma video is very intriguing. What kind of work did you do on it? Do you know how the shaders work? It looks like some interesting layerd part cel shaded. Very cool. Any way we can see the whole thing? I looked around alot, and it seems they only play it at festivals?

Thanks everyone!

Vectorman, I was the animation supervisor on the project and the co-founder of the studio. The cartoon look was an idea of the director. He created that look. We only play the trailer on the website. The whole movie, which is almost 9 minutes long, can be seen at festivals only. Maybe in few months we are going to put it on the web site too.

Our studio has a revolutionary technology that allows filmakers to make movies on the internet, both live action or CG. Grandma was entirely done on the internet an so is The Auction.

I am really glad you like my work.

I don't think so, but I will check the list of festivals when the director comes back from Japan.

I live in Massachussets, USA so i don't think i'll be catching any film festivals. VERY good work either way. I'm interested in that website cyberploc. What an interesting idea. In fact its kind of how i'm working now but on a MUCH smaller scale. And i happen to know by director in real life. But i found a texture guy thats helpin me, and the guys here at sm help me in my WIP forum, so i really feel where that whole thing is coming from. Amazing that was all volenteer work, over the internet.

Will we see any new posts about "the Auction" soon?
