This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

verticals to poly

hi i'm tring to convert verticals to polygons and i can't figure it out

what i'm trying to do is take 3 verticals that have alredy bean created select them and create a face out of them (not using create polycon too and just naping to the verticals beacause i need that face to be part of the model with the verticals in it)

apend poly tool maybe.. or extrude edge snap and merge verts... i find i have more control with that method.. sometimes when using apend poly it selects the wrong or too many polys and stuff
