SO glad you asked!

Part 1 should be ready to go by this weekend!

PART 1 - INTRO to advanced COMPOSITING for VFX:
In this tut, we start with the simple exploding spaceship, complete with shockwave "ring-of-fire" effects.

You'll learn:
1. zero-G explosion keyframe animation
2. Mild dynamic simulation of debris.
3. 1 debris creation method
4. mild paticle debris
5. stock footage pyro usage
6. rotoscoping theory
7. compositing the final shot
(any compositor will work)

PART 2 - MORE COMPOSITING for VFX:
In this tut, we expand on our knowledge of debris dynamics by blowing up a passenger aircraft in-flight.

You'll learn:
1. inter-earth solid-body explosion dynamics where gravity is a concern.
2. Digital matte creation methods (for the environment)
3. more debris creation methods
4. paticle instancing of debris
5. particle FIREBALLS!
6. Particle/PFX debris smoke trails
7. Using Maya's particle cache.
8. more stock footage pyro usage
9. OPTIMIZING your scenes in Maya for faster rendering!

Hope to see you there!
