Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Real Flow Melt Shader for Maya -- Mixing colors problem

Hello user added image

Does anyone here know how to use the Mental Ray melt shader for Real Flow in Maya? It's what's used get the mixing liquids effect. I'm supposed to get two different colored liquids to mix but so far I only have one color showing. I checked the vertex weights and blind data checkboxes in the attributes of the rf mesh but still no luck. Did I miss a step somewhere?

Thanks,

Calvin

Realflow Melt Shader

Hello, did you manage to locate the melt shader? Or find a solution to use when trying to mix colors in mental ray? Looking forward to your response as I am currently stuck on a project because I can't seem to find the realflow melt shader in maya 2016.

Cheers,
Mike
