This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

April Challenge - Spoiler - noobie

Hi,

Not tried one of these challenges yet so I'm gonna give this a go. I was hoping for something less organic but nevermind. It's all good practice.

Hey spoiler, very nice.. make the eyes a bit more narrow though when you model it, to give it that evil look. Looks great! Are you going for a statue look, or the actual gargoyle?

Not sure yet. I've been doing some sketches of it standing up. I'm hoping I could animate it at some point.

Change of plan and all that.. I can be very fickle.

Anyway, here is a evil pet sketch. I'm gonna clean it up in illustrator and make all the proportions even.

Damn, you can tell I'm new. I'm far too excited about this. Hardly anyone has signed up yet and I'm off and "my" full speed (which isnt very fast I can you).
