Wasn't there an ex-porno chick running too? Seriously.

That would be great to have a statewide "Porno Day!"

Whoohoo!

I think Armold got in more because of people being fed up with the politics and mud slinging done by the other candidates. I feel any republican in office would help California. I am from California. I moved away partly because of all the dumb laws. I am not sure I would have voted for him though. He married into the Kennedies so we will see. I like his stand on fitness but that is all I know of him so it is kind of crazy that he would get ellected.

Haha, I love how everyone thinks that all the people in california are actors. Yes California has it problems but so does everywhere else I have lived. Personally I would rather live there than any landlocked, flat state. Have you seen the Women at the beach? Oh ya.

Arnold really catered to the immagrants, and he went down to alot of communities and actually talked to people. There are "ALOT" of immigrants in california. Most all of the average U.S. born people I have talked to were against the recall, and against Arnold as GOV. Bustamonte, McClintok <--don't know if thats spelled correctly, did not go out to the communities and talk to the people, if I recall. And when Arnold was in one part of the state, his wife was at another part. They campained really smart, but it all basicly boiled down to Arnolds fame, and his rags to riches story. I don't think Arnold is going to be able to do very much in my opinion. The whole recall was such a joke in my opinion.

actually I always base my opinion about Texas on the amount of death penaltys, the situation of prisons and how justice is being served by the police there. sounds like a tough place to live if you don't obey by the rules 100%.

the reason I named Bush was because Texans voted him for governor some years ago, wich I really don't understand whenever I hear the guy talk.
but that's drifting off the topic a bit, sry.

Arnold himself has no experience in this kind of political realm. His wife Maria had a big influence on his victory. Maria is a Kennedy, a big well known democrat. I predict that Arnold will use Maria to speak at alot of political events.

Yes and if he doesn't get elected he'll be back. I hear the democrats are searching for a candidate made from ahighly advanced liquid metal. Has anyone heard if they are having any success?
