Mental Ray Problems

I just downloaded Mental Ray 1.5. I am running Maya 4. I loaded the Plugin through the plug in manager and it sees it. However....When I click the load button...it will not load the plugin? Confused? How do you fix this?

Mental Ray is only for Maya 4.5. Sorry buddy user added image
