Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Inside Furby Face

trying to model the inside of a furby face. I have striped down my Furby to its guts, and I was going to composite this ontop of it in video footage, so I can make him talk with a regular voice, and give him more expresions, What do you think so far?? Thanks,
Brian

Looks really good so far.

Can you make the final version do a decent burp after sticking something in its mouth?

Umm, this is an update, looks different from a regular Furby, the eyes and the Lower eyelids, but I thought that it would help give it character. Thanks,
Brian

The eyes on that last pic is very funny. He looks like he's dignified or very serious.

hey guys, this is a lip sinc test, the compression is really bad, but its the only way that i could attach it. The original audio is really clear, just not on this audi clip. So... What do you think????I used Sorenson for those of you who have macs. thanks,
Brian

Pretty cool. There's this ambient and in the end it's a furby talking lol. With a serious male voice. Nicely done.

thanks, can't wait to composite itonto a real furby. user added image Be really wierd. The eyes are just a photograph, well, at least the Iris is, and it is only applied to the front faces of a sphere, and it also has a bump map, there is an outer layer of the eye for additional reflection, and the rest of the eye is a white phong, with a slight increase in incendesence, so it looks white not grey. Thanks for all of the replies, I got alot more than I expected. Thanks,
Brian

Ummm.... trying to decide if I want to have eyelashes or not. the original has really girly eyelashes, and not sure if it goes well with the voice I have chosen, so... I made some, but I made them black instead of white. With or with out the eyelashes??
Thanks,
Brian

Hey guys, here is a composite test of what it might look like on the actual furby. What do you think? I am going to lighten the eye lids up just a little bit, because they are not the same color as the mouth. Thanks,
Brian

BTW sorry about the compression, trying to keep it small.

combination of a few things, Um.. a very small bump on everything, (nothing is perfectly smooth) and then I just did alitte touch up in photoshop. I have done alot more work on the eyes to make them look more realistic, I will post an update in a little bit. Thanks,
Brian
