What made you donate time for the site: I wanted a "maya" only with no max no photoshop no fuss web site, where I could find all the tutorials I needed - So I made one

Animals: 1 labrador chocolate colour - 2 years old in feb
Married: To helen - known her since I was 15 and she was 14 in school.

Food: Bring on the curry - madras / Vindaloo / dansak and a large garlic nann - few pompadoms (dam Im starving)
Goals:
1. To make this the best Maya site on the net, to do the same with XSI, LIGHTWAVE and MAX.

I got tired of not having anywhere to go for Maya-specific help and friends.
Plus, I've been in the biz for about 8-10 years, and I thought I'd start spillin my guts a bit

Friendly place with a nice atmosphere. plus kevin kept mailing me threats of stealing all my lego unless i helped out. dont have so much time to hang out here as much as I'd like to now though
Hobbies: Playing drums, listening to biziarre heavy music, getting out to the cinema as much as poss, visiting ruined castles / buildings, vampyric/norse mythology.

Found the site just after it opened, while I was still in school. Love the atmosphere and members. Then Kevin asked me to be a MOD and I like to help people out so I agreed....

Worked as head programmer for Telstar creating the back ends for interactive Video catalogs, went on to work in securing communications for telecom companies, probably sounds a lot more interesting than it was, met Kevin 5 years ago and we've been working together every since LOL exactly the same time i started running out of money funnily enough; but then i get a lot more beer and curry working for Kev than i did at Telstar so....Originally posted by dbirider
