shrinking shaders

ive created an ideal texture for a project i am working on but i have created it on a nurbs sphere that is about 500 times larger than the object i want to apply it to. when i do apply it and render it out it looses all the qualities that it had on the large sphere (with me so far?) So basically is there a way to shrink all the attributes of the shader so that it looks identical to the rendered image of the large sphere when applied to the small one

thanks Mike

I sugest you look for a tut on shder networks, other then that, if you display the shader in the hypershader graph, you can scale it in the "place2dTexture" node under Repeat UV.
