Delete & Clean

Hi

I was reading a tutorial earlier and they referred to 'Delete & Clean'. To delete an edge and fill in the gap. Where is that option in Maya 5?

ya, just select the edges you want to delete and hit the "delete" key on your keyboard. then switch to Vertice selection mode and delete any stray verts that are left over.

if you use the delete edge option it will also delete the left over verts at the same time .
