Vehicle: Challenger Tank

I know there's been a small spate of tanks recently but I thought I'd throw my hat into the ring.

Been Modelling this since thursday (On and off cause of work). BUt here's what I got so far.

One part I really need to fix is the side panels they are too boxy and have no detail in them so I will be sorting that asap. Tracks are temporary and the render was done at 1am after a 12 hour shift at work so go easy on that user added image

and here is a wire for anyone that is interested. It's about 35,000 polys at the moment because of the tracks and the wheels.

Good overall shape, especially the turret. Very nice commanders hatch. Work needed on those armor plates, but youre already on that. Looks alot cleaner than mine. (35k faces isn't much for a high detail object user added image )

Cool overall shape. I could look at tanks all day and not get bored. I too forward to seeing it detailed out. I am going to sound like a broken record but put chamfers on those corners.

Well, it looks great!
Just poly count is a bit high. But you already explained it. Keep up a good work, mate!

Sweet. You kussan and someone I saw doing a M1 should get together and do a tank battle. Someone neads to model a T80 and a BMP. I seen a few apaches. and someone was modeling a werewolf. With good compositing it could be awsome. Old cold war battle. An equipted T80 would be a good opponant for an M1 or Chalenger.
