doubled model

Help!

Ive been working on this model and its starting to come together and ive just noticed that somewhere along the line I have double the model. so when I smooth it out everyone looks really weird because for every face theres two!

Is there a quick way of sorting this or do I need to deleted each face individually?

Any help would be much appreciated

if the doubled polys are exactly in the same place as the originals, then you can use a merge verticy function under edit polygons to get rid of the redundant geometry.
