Radiance for Light in Maya

Hi Friends and Mentors,

I have a small confusion here. I have received a work where my client guidlines says to have a directional light with the radiance of 1.8 W/srm square.
I think setting the radiance is only possible in vray light but in that case how can I have directional light in vray ?
I tried looking into mental ray light shaders but didnt find any use.

Please suggest
