An idea is delicate.
It can be killed by a sneer or yawn,
It can be stabbed to death by a joke
Or worried to death by a frown
On the right persons brow.

The room does seem too large compared to the size of the furniture. I'd also recomend altering the books so they don't seem like obvious copied sets.

The room is supposed to be 2 floors high. I'm going to put in an overlooking corridor all around later.

Looks great.
I like the scale of the room. Maybe if the furniture was more spread out and possibly a larger coffee table it would look slightly better.

You mean the table in the middle where the vase is should be bigger?

looks a bit too warm in color to be night. Looks more like daybreak or something, with the sun rising outside the window.

Yes, and i agree with the hogfather about the coffee table, it should be a bit larger in comparison to the couches. Also the coulches might wanna be spread out a lil more in such a HUGE room.

Example on the blue lighting.
