Medievel Ages - ereitz

Hi guys - I'm going to model an evil knight by the name of Axe-a-lot. He's a killer. My goal is to make him a truly ugly, scary, nasty piece of work who will send shivers down yer spine. That's the goal. These are my sketches. user added image

NIIICE modelling technique - with the pics and all!! I'll have to remember that one user added image. Are you using NURBS? I look forward to seeing Sir Axe-a-Lot develop into a fully fledged and evil "scary-man".

I started with a NURBS sphere and when it seemed to have gone about as far as I could take it then i switched to polys for details, eyes, ears etc.

This is the most detailed I've ever gotten modeling from a NURBS sphere before.

I plan to model body and head seperately - maybe boots also seperately. It's a lot easier when it comes time to rig.

Nice face.
Forget about the rejection letter...
Its there loss.
So think possitive.
Prove them wrong, and use your new creation on your next resume demo reel.

think i'm going to try to make the chain mail a cloth object... see how that goes - i've not been able to make cloth work before. The body is basically finished aside from a few tweaks i may do here and there. As for texturing i've just got a basic blinn with a leather bump map but i want to get a much better, wetter, rougher scarred facial surface for him.
