Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Vista

I am due to receive my new pc shortly and I up-graded it to 64 vista will my current maya 2008 be abled on this as I cannot remember if it is the 32 version?

I never knew there were 2 versions till looking on the website,or does it not really matter and worried about nothing?

i think its more of a preformance thing howver i wouldnt knock the fact that it is windows and we all know what windows is like i would probaly suggest searching alias page in support to see if theres been any issues

Hi,

I run Vista 64 and have used Maya 32Bit and 64Bit on my PC without any problems.

Regarding which version you have, they are both on the install disc which you get form Autodesk so there's no worries there user added image

Also, unless you are using a dongle license you will have to contact Autodesk to change your licence to your new computer otherwise Maya won't work. It shouldn't take any longer than a day or so for them to send out the new license.
