Best fluid/cloth for simulating a Marvel Symbiote

Does anyone here know what I'm referring to? If so, would you be able to help me figure out this intriguing puzzle? If no person knows what I refer to, I'll attempt my best a describing its characteristics. It is a living sentient entity which can mold and conform itself in many ways. It can shape into a variety of bladed and piercing weapons. Form tendrils from the size of Fiber-optic filament, to diameter of 3 feet (91.44cm). When impacted by, or against something, it reacts with the speed and fluidity of water, however does not separate into smaller drops as water does, instead reacts more like rubber cement. The animations should help visually describe what I’ve written. Animation 1, Animation 2, Non-Animation
