Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

a friend at work showed me this little "statue" of a mech for a game? Never heard of it, I think its some form of mech warrior, can't find any images of this mech online, so i modeled it off of the litte figure, so the proportions may be off... How did i do the little torus thing? the middle is just inset, and I got the hard edge after i converted it to sub'ds. THanks,
B

Hey Brian, Vector will be a pain to setup at first. you have to select whick edges will be soft and hard to get what you want, but the outcome is awesome.
