something new

this is something i started modelling yesterday... not really sure what it is. still have a lot of tweaking to do but this is basically what it looks like. should be fun to texture lol. for some reason the render took some of the detail out... probably cause there isn't any lighting. crits please. user added image

ps: i'm still workin on the fish thing... i just like working on 3 or 4 models at the same time lol.

Are you using any concept or are you just making it up as you go along?

kind of both... i did the body and head off a one sided drawing i found and just started tweaking from there... i made whatever adjustments i thought i needed as i was going along. i still want to add some more muscle detail to the head and body. hopefully it'll look really cool. user added image

The feet look unbalanced... like there should be another toe in front, or you nee the other two to be closer and projected forward more. IMO of course. Also might want more of a ridge on the eyebrow area, make it look meaneruser added image

i straightened the toes a little and enlarged the feet but i'm mostly happy with them. i'm currently playing around with some textures to see what works and what doesn't. this is what i have so far. the quality is kinda bad. user added image

you should really consider adding more of a jaw bone structure, and also adding more of a bone-like shape to the feet

this is an updated pic... still need a little work on the feet. i'm thinking of closing the eyes off and making it blind, to compensate i'll give it a big tongue kind of like the hunter from the resident evil games. thoughts on what i want to do with it and the model overall?

btw what does c&c mean?
