Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

The car looks great. It must've taken forever to do the fender.

thanks Anthony....actually the fender took about 7 hours...it was the rear bumper that took the most time...i spend the last 4 days doing that alone and what makes it worse is that half of it was already complete if you look at previous screen shots...but the bottom of the back bumper is a killer and it might be a little inaccurate but its a start but thanks bro

also, i got some more work to do on the back bumper..from those renders, it looks like 1 piece but its a 2 piece at the bottom because its a lip attached to it which is why it looks a lto longer then the normal bumper...i guess in the viewport its clear where the lip attaches but in these renders, it looks like the bottom sides are just extended super long so i guess i have to fix those edges

i think its my jpg compression because he renders were pretty clear until i saved as jpg lmao.......i should have done a btimap or something else but i might run some more renders tomorrow and save em at highest quality...because my AA settings are pretty high...dang jpgs.......

also, if anyone wants to do renders for me.....be my guest but im not going to hand the file to everyone so if you have skills, i would love for a render by you and you can add your signature to the img so ppl know who rendered it or whatever...thansk
