I just began working with Maya.
I bought a cheapo Belkin 3 button mouse.
Zooming (alt-Rclick) is very slow and unwieldy.
Is it my mouse?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
All the settings to change the Mouse settings on your PC for Windows 2000/XP and Vista can be found in the Control Panel under mouse.
If this doesn't work. Then try another mouse in the PS2/USB socket and if your wireless, put in new batteries. Again if this doesn't work, buy a Microsoft or a Logitech Mouse.
I am using a MS Wireless Laser 5000, and its very good. Just changed the batteries after 3 months of use. And I use my PC about 16 hours a day 7 days a week.
