hey man, sorry i havent posted those pics yet. im wiating for my internet card to come in so i can be back online. Anyways, the car for a first model is looking good. one thing i learned with car modeling is trying ot get all the edges spaced evenly. it will be better for your mesh. Its hard to crit because you have smoothed wireframes so please, post some unsmoothed wireframes because im noticing a few b umps on ya front bumper and im guessing its your mesh. Anyways, this car is comming along and it looks real good. When i see ur mesh, ill be able to guid you in gettng smoother results.

here u go bro. This wasnt done by me. It was done by the member TwoOneOne on cg-cars. He does his edges different then me but basically it almost looks identical. i just step 4 first then 1,2,3, 5

Step One:
Inset Edge (Split poly tool ot edge loop tool. I use the loop tool ubt with that, if there is a 3 or 5 sided poly, the loop with stop)

Step four:

Bevel that middle edge. Make sure roundess is check to One and when u bevel it, you will get the 2 edges like in the picture. Make sure the distance isnt to far also

Step five:
Now allpy your smooth or convert to subD and this is what u result should look like

Remember, do this part after u detached the pieces and extruded the edges. After u did that, seperate them a bit and then start ya edges. well I hope this helped

99G, maybe I missed something in the thread so ignore my comment if thats the case, but if you insert all those edges, why bevel? when you smooth/Subd, you will get a nice rounded edge.
