Have smoothed and re-rendered and attached the wire frame. Witchy mentioned the little sensors (ball-thingies) needed smoothing also, so basically just went on a smoothing spree user added image

It's much more roundy and unless anyone finds something horridly wrong with it, I'm moving on to our trusty K9 companion.

Yes, plungers are bad. Stairs, however, are your secret defense against this evil creature! user added image

Being reasonably content with my dalek, I've moved on to faithful K9. For those who don't watch Dr Who, here's a picture of the good Doctor's companion: https://www.unseenuni.freeserve.co.uk/K9.jpg

And a picture of my K9 in progress user added image

Coming along nicely. I like the darlek, you really get a feeling that there is a little person sitting cramped in there frantically pushing it along from the inside user added image

Uhh, I feel really retarded about this, but I have no clue whatsoever of Dr. Who and his gang. The series must be quite old?

fredriksson, Doctor Who was a campy little sci fi series that ran from 1963 until 1996 on BBC. It was shipped over the pond (to the US) and played mainly on Public Broadcasting channels in the 70's or 80's. It is rumored to be returning to BBC and I do so hope they can spare the time to ship those over here, also.

The daleks were the bad guys. Always running around yelling "exterminate!"

As for K9, he was one of the Doctor's companions. I've worked on my little K9 some tonight and here's where I am now. Still have the head, neck and tail. Then the texturing. He's still using the default Lambert for now.

Very little left to do on K9: just his ears, maybe narrow his face some more, the side panels and texturing.

Hrmmm. I don't recall seeing daleks in LOTR. I think you've got the idea backwards. But then, I could be wrong. Will wait to see what comes next. user added image

Your task is to convey a Lord of the Rings character, creature, and/or environment in ANY genre/style EXCEPT fantasy/medieval!

I thought we were putting the LotR characters (or whatever) into a new setting? user added image Gandalf, whom I'll start once the props are done, will be remade into Dr Who and what's Dr Who without an enemy and his trusty companion. If I've gotten it wrong.....?

They be props. You cant have Dr. Who without a Darlek, its like eating sausages without lashings of baked beans, it would be wrong it what it would be.

Thats looking great Nataliia.....and you class yourself as a noob? You and I must have different definitions of the word, as I certainly would not class myself to be as good as that. I'd better improve pretty soon to stand a chance at giving you any competition user added image
