This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

we do? go ahead and make one. a tutorial that covers all the ideas used in this car would easily fill a book. and step by step tutorial to make the car yourself could be another book.

cars are by far not something you just do in a weekend when you are bored.

Those are two good tutorials, however, the first one isn't really clear on the method and the second is for MAX users.

I've seen a tut using the spline method to build a poly head, but where in Maya is the spline tool?

Im building a car too but blueprints are scarce. Im looking for a 76 VW Bug. Seen any?
