Ball bounce

Hi!
I just finished the ball bounce video tutorial and now i want to save it. Can you save it in other formats like .gif or something so that frineds can look at without having maya?

Doesn't it show you in the tutorial how to save it as a type of video file (I forget which type)? I'm pretty sure that the author of the tutorial (Kurt I think) turned it into some sort of video file using another program. I'm thinking of the bouncing ball tutorial from this website however, so if that isn't the one you're talking about, this may not be of much help.

I have watched the whole tutorial and i cannot se or hear anything about how to save it in other formats

or just save as an avi form the dropdown.

from witch dropdown menu?
I chose save scene as... and i can just chosse 2 different maya formats.
