Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Had a chance to model this a bit further. It's all smoothed out right now. Some creases will be added to the beak later.

Thanks! Yeah, haven't really concentrated on the legs yet. I just threw them there to visualize the proportions since I don't have too good reference pics...

Started testing some feather systems. Paint Effects turned quicly to pain effects. These are just textured nurbs stripes with transparency. Might work good enough once I tweak the shader a bit...
