well, it's been a while since i lasted posted, but here is an update.

I have been working on and off on the taxi. still pretty new to nurbs and I don't quite have the right refs, but I don't think it's looking too bad at the moment.

Arran, looks like a god start. I've pretty much never touched nurbs, have to learn that too, since some things in hard surface modeling are way too much hazzle to do in polys (and doesn't get the same accuracy as nurbs would). I want a good tutorial that covers more complex hard surface modeling with beveled edges etc. haven't found any though. Have you?

another update. have been building some seats, working on the side panels and also rebuilding the back - in fact i seem to spend most of my time rebuilding pieces, which seems to be the way nurbs work.

I'm having a slight issue with the area above the back wheel. Not sure if I have to keep rebuilding the curves or adjusting cvs - none of the surfaces have been attached yet.

hello - bit of an update - the taxi was giving me a headache so I made a start on some of the texures - just blocking out the main colors and mapping UVs at the moment. only color maps so far and the lighting is from a hdri.

that looks wonderfull! great work. The lighting looks very realsitic. How did you do that?
