NURBS surface patches help!

how would you create a hole in a NURBS surface to create say a window hole. If not then how do you create holes?

u can use the trim tool, use the boolean tool,
for nurbs, u can project a curve on surface and then trim it, or u can draw a curve on surface, then trim, or u can boolean 2 intersecting surface

Well, you could trim it out with the trim tool and a curve-on-surface designating the trim area, but in my opinion, polygons are much easier to work with.
