Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Perhaps a low intensity light for the entire room?

i have an ambient in there with the intensity at like .1
i was discussing this with my friend.

we also talked about the lights on the right maybe needing to come more to the right in order to reveal the tank between them
and moving the desk more central to the picture, bringing the light with it to brighten up the centre of the room

..... ????

Thanks

Kyle

How about posting a fully lit version of the scene? It would be easier to give suggestions then... just a thought...

Hmm. I don't know what's on the right hand side wall but one idea would be to put some dark blue light coming into the room through a window. Like moon light or something. It could give some nice ambient and interesting shadows...

kbrown i like that idea but the room is like a science lab in some sub-level laboratory research centre, so thats why its dark cuz its all bulb lights

Kurt its not ALL nurbs but in making some of the objects in the scene, yes nurbs made it quite easy whereas for others polys made it much easier

but thanks for you opinions suggestions and stuff, any more? pick it apart find the things you dont like and tell me i want to work and not look funny or awkward ya know?

thanks again

Ah, ok...hmm...how about adding some warning lights to the lab equipment? And a shiny coke automat to some corner of the room? =)
