Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

How about some specular map to try to make use of the difference then appearing, like wet areas where the specular is strongest and frosty areas where the map is weaker? user added image

kurt, if you want any advice: i personally would reduce the displacement strength a tiny little bit user added image

when i comes to shading networks... if you can think of anyone worser than me is my shadow!!.....

and kurt, try to make the bump a bit low... just a bit... though it is awesome.. but will give it a better look..
