ninja tutorial

hi. im very new to maya and have yet to make any model on it because i do not know how. i am very interested in viewing the ninja tutorial because the reason im a learning maya is to make some models for a game that will be human about that detailed. i think i am missing something though because from what i see to watch that tuorial i need to spend 80 dollars on 50 points? how is that reasonable. could someone please explain to me what i am missing because 1 video tutorial is not worth 80 dollars.

I've not watched the Ninja video, but I'd still say that the rate is competitive when you consider the length (over 7 hours) and the amount of detail in the model. Look around at other character modelling DVDs and I think you'll find the rate reasonable in comparsion.

$80 = £42.51

divided by 7hrs ...... (now let me grab my calculator)

thats a decent rate if you ask me user added image

£6 pounds an hour, if you can find quality video instruction for Maya cheaper elsewhere, I'd be surprised.

Bottom line if you don't think its worth it don't buy it.
