Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Any one help?

I 'm trying to model a robot and when i use extrude face i seem to get to many faces .....i have attached an image if some 1 could please tell me what is wrong and any fix as i have now done this cylinder about 4 different times .

polygons->tools->keep faces together (ON).

This should be made sticky, every single person that uses Maya has this problem at one point in time.
