Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

how did you make the fireball?

maybe try making a sphere, add the fire fx to it, and either hide the sphere or colour it

see how that turns out...unless that's what you did.. in which case play with the fire fx settings again user added image




that's a "Ch" pronounced as a "K"

the fireball was a 3d fluid container with an emitter in the middle and the colour was black with the incandecence of fire colour

seeing as you said you wanted some crits, here is what i thought...

i think the septum looks really wide and the texturing around the nostrils looks a little odd.

the hands look like they need some work, as mentioned the fingers looks thin and the space between them looks wide.

and I think the the shiny armour is cool but it looks blue in that last picture because i guess its reflecting an HDRI that doesn't make sense with the background.

I think its good tho, i wish i had more free time to work on something like this. user added image

thanks heaps hammer.horror it is a blueish hdri so you were correct and also correct that it doesnt really go with the background which is deffinately something i will look into thankyou very much for commenting
