Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

tribute to escher

i did not know what to do today, so i made this image. as the original idea of that is from escher, i just call it "tribute to escher". i doubt it is good enough for gallery - too simple user added image

had some fun with duplicating, fog, and dof.

i dont think so - i had to create even more cubes. for this still it is not enough. slight mistakes on the borders. and the still took a long time - i am on my notebook, as that is the only computer i can take to the usa when i fly the 15th to immigrate and marry my fiancée.

but thanks that you like it

thanks, i will see what i can do. but as i am in the middle of packing my stuff - not sure if i find much time for maya. and to not work on it for ever and ever - i just posted it in finished work.

i know it is not as good as i want it to look - but i learned a lot about dof and fog.

in the original the fog is even stronger. have a lookat:
https://socr.uwindsor.ca/~murphy/mce.html
and look for "cubic space division" from 1952
