Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

THX1138- March/April

Guess I will go character with mine again. I'm just doing this challenge to advance my modeling skills. I'm not gunning for any physical prize with this.

Will have a concept drawing up soon.

Ok, here is the concept. A Steampunk fantasy pin-up. Based from the works of "Hajime Sorayama"

I didn't want to post an actual copy of his works, so I wipped up this sketch in about an hour. I haven't done any good freehand sketching in a long time, so i'm a bit rusty. Anyway, the actual model will differ from the concept as I am going to modify her to fit the Steampunk theme better.

Glad you like it Some guy; however, I'm not looking for this piece to be popular. So if you like it then great, if you don't then so be it. It's not going to effect me one way or another.

Don't worry Some Guy, I'm just trying stay out of any popularity contests. You didn't do anything wrong, and I was not trying to offend. I just wanted to state this early. I'm not particularly trying to impress anybody here. My most humble appologies to you mate.

Comments on the work are welcome as always.

Just the robot pinup's. It reminded me straight away of futarama and the idea of robot pornography.
